MWhiz! is a lesser-known game developed by Chris T. Nadovich and published by CodeWorks - Cursor, a company known for creating software for the Commodore PET. The game was released during the early 1980s, a period when the Commodore PET was a popular platform for educational and entertainment software. CodeWorks - Cursor primarily focused on producing games and utilities for the PET, and MWhiz! was one of their offerings.
The exact gameplay mechanics and objectives of MWhiz! are not well-documented, but it is believed to be a text-based or simple graphical game typical of the era. Given the limitations of the Commodore PET's hardware, the game likely relied on text input/output or basic character graphics. The title "MWhiz!" suggests it may have involved puzzles, wordplay, or trivia, which were common themes in early computer games.
Unfortunately, detailed information about MWhiz! is scarce, and it does not appear to have achieved significant recognition or widespread distribution. The game remains a niche piece of retro computing history, primarily of interest to enthusiasts of vintage Commodore PET software. Chris T. Nadovich and CodeWorks - Cursor's contributions to the early computer gaming scene are acknowledged, but MWhiz! itself is not widely remembered or preserved in gaming archives.
