Belmar Castle is a text adventure that stands out for being written in BASIC with only 40 lines of code and a minuscule file size of 2 KB. It's also compatible with the C64, VIC 20, MEGA65 (Commodore 65), and Commodore MAX, the computer for which it was originally developed.
This isn't our own work, but rather a small tribute to Dunric. In the downloadable file, you'll find the original version, written by Dunric himself, and our translation. Lobogris handled the translation, Josepzin chose the photo and designed the cover, and A. Rocha created the magnificent image that adorns the cover of the physical edition. We've added new versions, and you can now also download the ORIC version, for which MINTER handled the adaptation in both languages, and Chema Enguita created the DSK and TAP files. We also have the ALICE version (Matra & Hachette), thanks again to MINTER. We also have the "extended" version of them for the entire Commodore PET range, and the Spanish/English cartridge version for C64 and MAX, thanks to Minidon.
